Actors Theatre of Indiana presents ‘One Voice The Music of Manilow’
Barry Manilow has recorded and released fifty-one Top 40 singles on the Adult Contemporary Chart, including 13 that hit number one. He has also released 13 platinum and six multi-platinum albums. His music touched everyone across the world.
On Saturday, February 18 , the Actors Theatre of Indiana presented “One Voice The Music of Manilow.” Don Farrell and the Terry Woods Jazz Quartet performed a number of Manilow’s biggest hits including “This One’s for You,” “Looks Like We Made It,” “Mandy,” “Weekend in New England,” “Could It Be Magic” and my favorite “Copacabana.”
Farrell did an excellent job of engaging the audience with humor and a trained voice that kept interest on the highest level. Farrell is a co-founder of ATI and serves as Artistic Director of the professional theatre company. He has overseen the creation and implementation of all programming and, since its inception in 2005, has helped grow ATI from a small professional theatre company to an award-winning and vital member of the central Indiana arts scene.
He has produced every production of ATI’s 16+ year history. ATI is Hamilton County’s only professional equity theatre company and is the City of Carmel’s Resident Professional Theatre Company, setting the highest artistic standards, creating the powerful experience of shared theatre for its community.
